27th edition – International jazz soloist award

The competition is open to Italian and foreign jazz soloists playing any instrument (including voice).

The following awards will be assigned:

  • Premio Internazionale Massimo Urbani;
  • “Paolo Piangiarelli” Award which includes recording, mixing and mastering of the winner’s artistic project;
  • 2nd e 3rd place;
  • NUOVO IMAIE Award, which includes a 6 concerts tour for the winner;
  • Scholarships for jazz workshops in Italy like Nuoro Jazz and Fara Music Summer School;
  • Audience Award, to the artist most voted by the audience of the final stage;
  • Social Award, to the artist most voted by the web audience;
  • Critics Award, a special award given by a jury composed of specialized journalists and artistic directors

The artistic direction of the Massimo Urbani International Prize is pleased to communicate the names of the musicians who have passed the selection stages and have been admitted to the final of the 2022 edition which will take place on 25 and 26 June in Camerino (MC).
